    Dear Michael,
We will soon have a Seung Hwa ceremony for the 49 year-old Japanese missionary to Jamaica Mrs. Yoko Nonaka who died on January 9. The delayed ceremony is needed for her because of her being sent to the eternal world by the Buddhist rituals she surely didn’t wish to acquire as a daughter of TP.

The well-organized group of Japanese missionaries to Jamaica will come to this Japanese Won Juen to have a formal Seung Hwa ceremony for the 30,000 blessed family member on July 3 with me as the ceremonial pastor. She is buried in the vicinity of her home by her immediate family who has little ties with our movement.

A nurse, Yoko had been an important member in the Jamaican mission, and thus they all remember her well and therefore miss her so much, according to Mrs. Junko Tamura.

Tamura told me this morning that there would be a commemorating message expected to arrive soon from the National Messiah in America. A Jamaican flag will be placed in the right place during the ceremony.
