Sharing God's New Covenant with the World Since 1975
Jim,
This is a nice-sounding theory---but it is complete hogwash!. Anybody can talk about the "ideal"---but---it is the actual way that people LIVE that is important. There is absolutely NO disagreement about the way Jesus lived with the things he said. The people that opposed Jesus in his day---were prisoners to the Old Testament--The Jewish Law. Jesus so offended them because he brought forth a new, and deeper understanding of the nature of God's heart. Jesus supersceded the laws of Moses, based on the development of men--and brought a new message of God as a loving Father and mankind---as his children---making us all brothers and sisters. Jesus said that we received salvation through FAITH---and not through works, ceremonies, rituals, processions, or programs.
He said that He is the Way, and that NO MAN may come to the Universal Father except that they unite with Him. He wasn't lying when he said those things. He proved it through his life.
Did Rev. Moon prove his statements through his life? Does he heal? Does he serve? Does he uplift the bretheran? Or, does he give speeches and act like a king---placing himself above all others and being served? Is he the one that leaves the flock and goes searching for the lost sheep? Or does he not even bother to seek after the strays---preferring instead to crown himself in elaborate cermonies---while saying---God want's this? Come on, give me a break. There is a universe of difference between Jesus and Father. All of the most elaborate of ceremonies, the biggest banners, and the longest declarations of him being the lord of---well----the entire limitless universe-----all of the robes, and the gowns, and the crowns, the jets, the palaces---is not at all the nature of Jesus or His Father. God already owns every diamond and ruby on every whirling planet around the billions of star systems in all of the galaxies.
The whole notion of God wanting his son to have all that "stuff" because of his resentment is totally baseless. And then to perpetuate the folly by handing off the "sacred family" to the next generation--without any substance----is the height of arrogance. And if you are stupid enough to believe it, then you deserve to live a brainwashed life without finding God's destiny to you in this life.
I listen to the supposed "true family" speeches. There is no substance there at all. Why? Because the substance of understanding God's heart comes from experience---not from Harvard. Substance can only come from service of your fellow brothers and sisters---not from being served as princes and princessess by them. This is a common ploy that has been used by the clergy for thousands of years, all the way from the Phariscees to the Popes, to the Ministers of today.
God did not create us to be subservient to human ministry, except as teachers---not religious royalty.
Jesus made it forever clear, that when He sent the Spirit of Truth---"it would live in our hearts and guide us directly to all truth". We don't need middlemen as they would have you believe---all the while getting rich off of your work---eating the best foods, living in the best houses, driving the best cars, wearing the best clothes. If any of Rev. Moons children truly want to represent God---they need to come down to the level of the rest of God's children---and serve them---by living at the same level-----as Jesus did.
