Sharing God's New Covenant with the World Since 1975
In addition, found in the blog section of this site are most of Father's speeches given at Barrytown during the 40 day training as well as speeches after the waves of foreign missionaries had arrived in the countries of our assignment.
Content
The administrators of this site do not wish to restrict the free expression of opinions, reports and testimonies. Every member of this site automatically has a private Profile Page which you can design according to your own tastes or interests. Your blog posts will appear on your Profile Page and on the front, public page of this website if they are tagged as "public."
Public Spirit
Please give consideration to the posts that are published on the most public areas of the website that they are in line with the stated goals and topics of this publication. Otherwise interesting, topical or newsworthy items can be linked and posted as well. In addition, the most popular area of the site includes photos of foreign missions as well as more contemporary pictures of kids, grandkids, family and tribe.
Discussions
In general, articles, essays and reports can be posted on the front page. Discussions should take place in the forums where everyone is welcome to voice their opinions. The front page of the website is NOT the place to engage in arguments or "flame wars."
Enforcement
If the site administrators feel an article is placed in the wrong location, we may send a note and ask it be moved. In extreme cases, we will move or even delete inappropriate materials. Robert and I reserve the right to protect the mission of this website by imposing restrictions or banning users entirely.
Foundation of Substance
Neither Robert of myself are fond of "poison pen" letters which level accusations or judgements against website participants. If you have a problem with someone, it is your responsibility to make the relationship whole. Keep in mind that anger, jealousy and greed are fallen natures we all must deal with within ourselves. The best example is humility and grace when we encounter personal challenges.
Father said that our testimonials will serve future generations. It's important to keep in mind our responsibility as role models and remember, everything written on the Internet can live on forever.
Who may join this site?
The priority of this website is to locate and register all those who traveled overseas as part of the 1975 Missionary Outreach. In consideration of the many faithful brothers and sisters who performed their ministry in foreign lands, the site is open to all later missionaries, National Messiahs, and their families as well.
In addition, native members who joined the Unification Movement in far away places, are welcome to participate as well. Your testimonies are in many ways even more precious as you were witnesses to the work of brothers and sisters sent by True Parents to find you.
Who can contribute to this project?
All people of good conscience, brothers and sisters can help us make this project a success by simply reaching out and sharing your story. If you know missionaries, please let them know we are looking for them. Here they will find many of their comrades from days gone by. The great work of restoration continues until the glorious day when we can proclaim the world entirely restored to God.
