Jim rigney,
You said, "why don't I go somewhere else?" So, when church members go out fundraising, witnessing, handing out books, doing home church, pursue Senators, Congressmen, and businessmen---are they following your advice to just do things within your church?
God instilled within man, the desire to "spread the good news". That's what I am doing. I'm doing it because I am qualified through my service in the UC and my discipleship with Christ. He inspires me to help UC members expand their personal relationships with God.
You would love it if I would go away, just as many people would like it if Father went away.
And this is because your world is getting rocked. Your brain is fully addicted---but your deep heart knows more about the truth. People hated Jesus because they thought they were doing good until he came and rocked their world. In fact, they were so alarmed that they wanted to do anything to get rid of him.
You may be intransigent, resistant, and unable to find your way at this time----but our conversations perhaps provide fertile ground for other missionaries that are watching the confrontation from the sidelines. Thus far, they have been mostly silent---but do not doubt that the spirit ever works for those that love the lord. The energy that we are putting out into the universe is not going unnoticed. It's a monumental battle, a discussion of note. It will go down in the history books as a great chess game between two ardent followers.
And someday, when you finally discover the Jesus that is living within your heart right now---you will be so happy---for----there is room for all at His great big banquet table.
I don't blame you for being human, and following your conscience. I too, had exactly the same fervour for Rev. Moon for a long time---and no one could tell me different. But I, unlike you, my brother----woke up from my dream.
