How Can We Know Heavenly Truth?

How many times in our life of faith in the UC have we questioned? How many times did things just not seem to add up? Knowing that we are living in a material body that comes equipped with a battery of animalistic urges and instincts; how many times did we struggle against ourselves; seeking to transcend our so-called "fallen natures" so that we could live in the presence of Heavenly Father? Because we did not understand the words that Father was speaking; didn't we blame ourselves sometimes for not being pure enough to experience the presence of God and understand the truth as he spoke it? "

For a person living in the material world down here on earth (and also as far up into the different levels of the spiritual world as we can imagine), we are unable to understand very much Divine Truth at all.

What we get of "truth" cannot neccessarily be proven because we are trying to understand the world of the spirit through the physical eyes of the world of time and space. So, what we are left with are the two instruments through which we understand, visualize, and define reality------our minds and our hearts. Because "religion" is the world of the spirit------we end up "feeling" what seems to be true through our emotions. And the parts of the universe that are also physical matter; we use mathmatics and logic to try to formulate an understanding of reality---or "truth".

Most religions have a "Guru"----the leader that interprets truth. Our Guru in the UC is Father.

Through following him; we have experienced spirtual growth and have had many experiences with the presence of God. Through spiritual experiences which often manifest as love energy, purpose, and joy; we develop "Faith" in our Guru. That's why even though we may not sometimes understand what he is saying; through our faith; we choose to accept the words; believing that by following and implementing his words; we will get a little closer to God. In the case of Father; members believe that they can actually change their blood lineage from the fallen Adam and Eve lineage to a new lineage that is connected to God rather than to that other dude.

I do know that the only reason that evil exists in the world is because in God's Plan of Creation; he created mankind to be His sons and daughters----so He gave them the gift of Free Will. Since God is only a God of goodness; the only reason why evil still persists is that God continues to honor his own Universal Laws of Free Will. If God gave man Free Will; they He certainly must have expected man to make his own decisions. Since God is omnipotent and sits on the circle of eternity; already representing the past, present, And Future------He already knows the outcome of the story. The book has already been written, many times before, on many worlds throughout the superuniverses.

There is no room for fear when you want to think "out of the box". Mankind is  free to ponder and think about anything he wants to. No true Son of God would ever place any restrictions on the personal Free Will and responsibility of a man to freely consider what is "truth". Fear of offending God by your personal pursuit of truth must be abandoned forever.

 

Know this-----God has always been our Father; and we have  always been his children. We have never belonged to anyone else. The effects of the default of Adam and Eve may have affected the human race genetically but a newborn baby is as  pure as snow in front of God. That is why an average person can turn out to be a saint while a chosen lineage child can end up living a life of sin.

 

The Unification Church has so many idealistic, thoughtful, dedicated people connected to it. As 1975 Missionaries; let us invest our hearts and minds in order to help further God's Plan for a world of Light and Life.
