To the Young Man Who Was Afraid

My young friend Jim,

 

Is this what the Divine Principle has taught you-----to resort to shamming and insulting others? My question again to you is---how are you  planning to unite the world?  Through force and intimidation? Look around you. Can't you see that the Universal Father is a God of love----a True Father? Would a Father treat me as you are treating me? How many years have you been in the church? Shouldn't your heart be growing more tender and loving if you are living within the presence of the God of Creation? You may not be able to perceive the love that is flowing out of my heart but is that any reason to ignorantly condemn that which you may not understand? You may think you have  all the answers you need but then why did you first contact me to talk about my blog? What is your purpose? Are you at all interested in learning about your other brothers and sisters that live here on earth with you---even though they may perceive our Heavenly Father from a different perspective?

Jim, the world is going to be united only through love--when men learn to respect the free will that God gives as a gift to each of us. When we think we know it all, we shut the door to truth. When you say you want to "research the Plan of Creation"----it means that, as a researcher---you study all the data you can ge--before you come to a conclusion. If you already have established in your mind, the outcome---then it's not research at all---it's alterior motives---and it is morally bankrupt.

 

I can only understand that something in my words must make you feel threatened----fearful. If you were supremely internally confident in your belief and living relationship with God----you would have no need to attack another truth seeker. And I am a truth seeker. I have been seeking God over 40 years. One important lesson that I have learned the hard way---is that I must respect every person I meet because a divine spirit lives within them and I may find them sitting at the Banquet Table of the Lord someday. We can discuss; we should discuss---because you may have important things to teach me.

Peace on Earth will come----when mankind shows himself friendly.
