This book contains the recollections of 31 young members of the Unification Movement, who, in 1975, volunteered to go to foreign countries as pioneers of their faith.

The missionaries describe their experiences in a frank and a personal way. They do not gloss over anything in order to show how God helped them and how they could be His instruments in an uncertain situation and an unknown world. Their own growth parallels the development of their mission, stirs the reader’s heart and fosters the understanding of a living, loving God.

During their youth many had not been to another country nor been exposed to other cultures or languages. Every single testimony bears witness to how our missionaries found themselves in situations that they could not have mastered without God’s guidance.

Despite many obstacles, they had to find a way to fulfil their mission. And they wanted to fulfil it – they persevered and developed an amazing creativity in the process.

Thus, the testimonies of our missionaries show the complexity between the human weakness and the power of our Heavenly Parent. They bear witness to a historic endeavour that laid the worldwide foundation for the development and dissemination of God’s message for our time to establish a peaceful world.
