Sharing God's New Covenant with the World Since 1975
Jim,
I know that I make you feel uncomfortable and the way you react to it is to go into an defensive aggressive mode. That's what they call "passive agressive behavior". While it might make you feel better to continue to blanket label people that cause you to be fearful----it's not helping your cause or your own spiritual journey. Jim, we are all broken in some way or another and sooner or later we all have to recognize this fact. It doesn't really matter to me what you choose to…

Brother Jim,
Do you understand anything at all about yourself? A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. It really amazes me at how you can formulate such sweeping indictments about how others think. You made some great leaps about me in your last post. They could not be farther from the truth. So, let me clarify where I am coming from:
God is the Creator of everything. He is infinite, eternal, absolute, omniscient, and omnipotent.
Humans---you and…

Jim,
Usually, when someone gets emotionally fixated on something---it is because they have that root nature living within them---the struggle between the spirit and the flesh. They can't ever seem to win over those fleshly desires---try as they might. And so, we hate the very thing that we are. But you know, if we just come to understand the deeper truth about these issues---and learn to love ourselves as God loves us----and bow humbly to the divine spirit that lives in…

"The doing of the will of God is nothing more or less than an exhibition of a man's willingness to share the inner life with God—with the very God who has made such a creature life of inner meaning-value possible. Sharing is Godlike—divine. God shares all with the Eternal Son and the Infinite Spirit, while they, in turn, share all things with the divine Sons and spirit Daughters of the universes."
Jim---if you desire to advance in your quest of spiritual maturity and sonship,…

Jim,
Have you ever considered a career other than religious philosophy? Jesus was a carpenter. Maybe you could build things.
I'm not sure how you arrived at the conclusion that I support gay marriage from my blog but you need to work on your powers of discernment, my friend. If you would take the time to internally understand the proper context which which other people are coming from---you would understand more about the universal truth concerning homosexuality. God created…

Jim,
Your words are great--------if you are a man. But, how do you think they feel to a women? Men have started all the wars on earth. Men, create wreake most of the destruction. Women are the spiritual standard bearers because they are the Mothers---the nurturers, the care-givers of the children.
In many cultures, women are treated as property. They are abused and even denied the opportunity to go to school.
The world would be a much better place if women were allowed…

I was confused in UC concerning the relationship between the husband and the wife and this explanation makes it more clear for me.
"The problem with the written word is that it can be interpreted in different ways. When individual expressions are used---rather than a multiple of expressions relating to the same subject---something can be lost in the teaching.
For example---just using one expression about "sex equality"---that men and women are equal in mind…

Some of you may know my wife, Anyas. She worked at the World Mission Center at the New Yorker. She is french, and she translates these types of works from french into english. I found this one to be interesting and thought that someone out there in cyberspace might enjoy it. Jim
Teacher Samuel.
Received by George Barnard.

Man was created to come to exist on the Physical Plane---on this whirling ball of dirt out on the edges of the 7th Superuniverse in the Milky Way Galaxy. God always has a purpose in what He does. So, we are here on Earth for school; for training; for preparation for…

Jim Rigney,
Jim, do you consider yourself a Religious Scholar, a religous student, a "Scribe of Damascus", a child of God, a teacher of men, a Disciple of Christ, a follower of truth; or; any of the above? A person that is truly following the religious life which he considers to be God's will should consider himself all of the above or at least---some of the above definitions of a spiritually dedicated person.
Did you see mentioned in the list----"parrot of words"; "unable to…

God is invisible. Some of us humans can see spiritual beings. For example; I can "see" Jesus and angels through my spiritual eyes. I am slowly becoming more and more aware of the presence of higher dimensions of the universe although I am still relatively blind. There are people that are gifted with different abilities to discern greater levels of the universe around them. As we progress inward towards Paradise, we too shall grow in our ability to perceive the unimaginable beauty along the…

Jim,
You are like the Energizer Bunny! You just keep on plowing away---pushing the message from speeches.
On the surface, you appear to be oblivious to the input coming from the spirit which severely jars your equilibrium. Because your internal divine guide is a fragment of God himself, and is connected with divinity----you are constantly receiving his inspiration in your higher superconscious centers. Far below the surface, the divine light of love is constantly beaming forth…

Jim,
Whenever we see the words; "we/you must", "we/you should"----take note. This is the presumption that "I know what is best" or in your case, "Rev.Moon knows what is best"---------for my/your life. Rev. Moon cannot control me, you, or even the decisions his own physical children make for their lives. That responsibility is sovereign to each of us. God equipped each person with their own unique personality and indwelling divine guide. He sent prophets to give mankind big…

THE SOJOURN ON MOUNT HERMON
After spending some time in the vicinity of Caesarea Philippi, Jesus made ready his supplies, and securing a beast of burden and a lad named Tiglath, he proceeded along the Damascus road to a village sometime known as…

No Jim, pretty pictures don't solve problems......and neither does quoting someone elses words.
What is important is...........how has the words of Rev. Moon changed YOUR life?
Have you now become a Christlike person? Is your heart as pure and deep as Jesus is? Have you won the battle between the spirit and the flesh? Is God in charge of your life----your thoughts; your actions?
Are you as full of love for everyone, including your enemies? Have you conquered the…

Jesus Christ came and lived on earth for almost 34 years. He was the example of what a "Christlike" person should be like. Doesn't this make sense? So, if another "Christlike" person came along--especially to fulfill the mission that the original Christ couldn't accomplish----shouldn't this Christ do all that the first Christ did and more?
This should be a good way to determine when Christ comes back again----shouldn't it?
The first Christ forgave sins. Did you ever hear anyone…

Jim, You believe that Rev.Moon is the Messiah, the one that came to restore the original mission of Jesus---who was not able to complete his work because of unbelieving humans. Would'nt omniscient, eternal God already know what kind of people he was sending Jesus to in advance? If he knew that, why couldn't he wait until a more favorable religious environment emerged?
There is a huge difference between what Jesus said, according to the Biblical records about his mission and what…

God---by His own design----created billions and billions of human beings----each one different than all others----just like snowflakes. God gave each person a very unique gift; a gift by which each being can be known. There is only 1 Jim Rigney. Have you ever seen another Jim Rigney? If you have a dog or a cat---you know your own pet. There are dogs or cats of the same breed as your pet---but they are not your pet, even though they are the same breed.
When God gave each person his own…
