Sharing God's New Covenant with the World Since 1975
Jesus completed his 7th bestowal on Earth so that he could gain experiential knowledge of human beings. That's why he was born as a baby. He completed this with his death and resurrection and assumed his position as Creator Son of our local universe. Jesus (Michael) has no need to incarnate in another human body. In fact, DP says there is no reincarnation so---what's up with that?
THE SIGNIFICANCE OF PENTECOST
"Jesus lived on earth and taught a gospel which redeemed…

Jim----your statment refers to the first time Jesus came to earth. He was rejected, and suffered many things. The Bible clearly says that when he comes the second time---he will come in power and glory and all eyes will see him. Check out those passages in the Bible and then quote them in all of your many translations. Hey, how about some equal time.
Rev. Moon did not exactly come on the clouds, in power and glory, and even though he has been here for 90 years----not very…

Many people today worship the Bible, calling it the "Word"---as if it came directly from God. But if one studies the history of the Bible----they will see that it is a collection of different manuscripts from different historical times and countries. It was not until over 300 years after Jesus death, that an evil Roman leader, Constantine---commissioned several hundred bishops to get together to sift through the framents of material----to come up with a book. These ancient bishops,…

Jesus said that HE had the power to forgive sins, based on a person's faith. There are CONSEQUENCES to sin. If you injure yourself or another person with your own willful errors----there must be restoration. For example, if you deprive someone of their physical life---that cannot be restored---and a debt is created. Even though God forgives you---something must be done to restore the taking of another man's physical life. Another example would be a family situation. If parents inflict trauma…

If you believe this passage from DP, it means that human beings are punished for doing things that their ancestors committed. It means that the God of love, mercy, and grace---allows his children to suffer for sins they did not commit. It negates Jesus own words that "the Son of Man has the power to forgive sins". Since when did it become justice for someone to be punished for another man's crime?
If the DP statement below is the truth; then it means that YOU and I are being subjected…

I just read that 1958 speech of Rev. Moon. Compare that to his speeches of 1955 or 1956. Explore the difference in demeanor. In 1955, Rev. Moon talked exclusively about Jesus. In this speech in 1958, he begins to talk about Jesus not being able to fulfill his mission. Rev. Moon is seeing that evil still exists in the world even though Jesus came, so he believes that it is because Jesus was not able to accomplish his mission. However, Rev. Moon does not acknowledge that Jesus said that he had…

In 1975, 120 Missionaries from the USA Unification Church were sent out to witness to the world, to be joined by 120 Japanese and 120 Germans.
Now, almost 40 years have passed. This web site is all but deserted. It seems that the only people that even bother to stay in touch fall into 3 classes: The hard core followers, The liberated ones, and the ones that are too afraid to…

Jim,
Did you ever have an original thought of your own? You are like a walking "Father's Speech" book, a living "quoter of passages". Where is the original personality of Jim Rigney that God created? Do you communicate with everyone around you this way----or do you have an actual life? So many times, I have seen the followers of different religions--with the stars in their eyes. Whether I ran into The Children of God, Transcendental Meditators, Hari Khrishnas, Baptists, Rajneesh, and…

Jim Rigney,
Yes, Jim, I'm talking to YOU---directly. Do you understand why nothing ever gets done in Congress?
It is because the two parties are entrenched in their own ideologies. They don't "talk" TO each other---they talk PAST each other. And this is exactly what OUR conversation is like. Instead of two dedicated religionists, children of the same Father---having a discussion and each sharing their own personal truths--and personal failures; that can only be learned through…

Jim,
You say that there are many Christians that don't act like Christians----just as there must be many Unification Church members that don't act like Unificationists-----don't you think?
So Jim, tell me-----what is it that makes a person a Christian? What is your definition of a Christian?
Is it what they believe? What kind of life they lead? How much they pray? How they conduct their lives in relation to others? Without going into your usual cryptic…

F. Scott Peck, a Christian doctor, wrote "The Road Less Traveled"; and another book called, "The People of the Lie". I originally read that book several years ago, but I had a hard time relating to it; perhaps because I was myself, steeped in "the lie". After my life became a complete mess both physically and spiritually---and----after personal destruction altered my course----I made a significant change. Somehow, I was given the power for soul rebirth. I guess I had to be completely…

When it is impossible to have an intelligent conversation with a person---where there is not the ability to contemplate alternate views; accept personal frailty, vulnerability, human error; without feeling judged, attacked, or guilt-ridden-----the person has a problem with Narcissism. ALL humans have this mental disorder to greater or lessor degrees, because it is part of the protective framework that allows us to survive in this world. But, when a person is severely afflicted with…

"The more completely man understands himself and appreciates the personality values of his fellows, the more he will crave to know the Original Personality, and the more earnestly such a God-knowing human will strive to become like the Original Personality. You can argue over opinions about God, but experience with him and in him exists above and beyond all human controversy and mere intellectual logic. The God-knowing man describes his spiritual experiences, not to convince unbelievers,…

The pits of hell are being reserved for you. You will burn in hell, you and your imaginery Satanic buddies. Oh yeah, I forgot----God is love, in his holy name, and don't forget the texbooks, teaching…

I don't know what happened to Jim Rigney in his life----why he became the way he is. Ultimately, each one of us has to face the music and to make an accounting before the throne of our Heavenly Father, and His Son. Jesus hand-picked 12 men and 12 women disciples---each representing the different personality traits of God's pattern of creation. Not much is spoken about the women in the only surviving account-the works that were fashioned into the Bible, over 300 years after Jesus…

Jim,
The question that we have to always ask ourselves is: Is my behavior a representation of the love of God? Have you ever heard Rev. Moon or Jesus speak in demeaning lanquage to sincere disciples?
Jesus did lash out at the Pharacees and the Scribes---but only because they had hatred in their hearts. They actively sought to destroy Jesus. 2000 years ago, in Israel, "blasphemy" was punishable by death.
The jewish clergy accused Jesus of blasphemy because they were in…

Jim,
A man of God does not lower himself to condemnation, character asassination of others, and arrogance. These acts of self-pride are the dividing line between those that live in the Kingdom of Heaven and those that don't. First we learn----then we teach. That is th pattern of God's Kingdom. Unless we experientially learn about love and brothrhood first----we cannot stand in positions of authority. Those that try to do so----do not create unity and harmony. We should all learn from…

Jim,
Don't you remember the Divine Principle and what it says about "individual truth bodies?"
from: Unification Thought
"For humans, God's purpose of creation refers to the purpose for the whole and the purpose for the individual. The purpose for the whole is to give joy to the whole (namely, humankind, nation, tribe, and so on, whereas the purpose for the individual is to obtain joy for oneself. Therefore, people are supposed to have their own joy while pleasing God…

Anyone can say anything. Sometimes, what people are saying seems wonderful, divine, and awesome. We tend to think, 'the person saying all those things must have a direct pipeline to God". This is because it touches some cord within our mind or heart. Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world. Why? It is because embracing that religion, reading the Koran, and observing the rituals brings a sense of God to the followers. The same can be said of all other…

The "Pair System"-----it's not a new revelation. All creation procreate in pairs. There are millions and millions of perfectly happy couples in the world, and happy families. Where did you get the idea that there aren't happy, united families? You think that Rev. Moon has the only happy family? How about all of the tragedies and dysfunction within his family? How about the divorces, the kids out of wedlock, the abuse?
Is that what the ideal is all about? I have a normal family. It has…
